Campus Praying Facilities

The dhuhr prayer congregation time is 1.30pm British Summer time and 1.15pm during the winter. Asr, Maghrib and Isha are also prayed in congregation.

The newly refurbished prayer room provides a peaceful environment for you to worship whilst on campus. So there's absolutely no excuse for missing a prayer, just hop over to the guild and you're good to go!

The prayer room is located in the basement of the guild (Student Union building) and is accessible through the guild’s main entrance and also directly from outside via a coded door. The code for this door can be obtained from any LivIsoc committee member.

The Guild prayer room is also home to our very own library, so help yourself to any books, tapes and magazines. There are also separate wudu facilities for Brothers and Sisters.

Jumu’ah prayer
|
Jumu’ah is held every Friday at 1.15pm.
Usually held in the Stanley Theatre, but check the prayer room for further details on the day.
Sisters are also welcome to attend jumu’ah prayers if they wish.

Capital of Culture it may be but Liverpool isn’t best place for food. However there are couple of decent places to eat.

Quick Chef
From chicken burgers to lasagnes, Quick Chef is a great place to sit and eat; walking distance from campus. Quality food, at really good prices you can’t go wrong.

Tureen
Probably the best take away in Liverpool. The only negatives are that they don’t deliver and it isn’t walking distance, however, it is definitely worth the trip. They do good donner, kebabs and pizzas but half chicken and chips for £2.50 is what they are known for.
